Disney & Tarrant, Bayside Reflections, pp 38-9 - attractive bldg with tall French windows, wooden verandah columns & slate roof, built by WH 1872, sold to WP, grazier of Wilcannia, as a seaside house. Palmer decided to return to England in 1887, and in April the property was sold in 15 allotments, the house to WN of Collins St, Melb for �1,250, public auction of contents [described] the following week. Sold in 1976 and demolished for units, the Chinese elm being saved by public pressure. TS Note: Lloyd Tayler designed an office building for W A Harston in Chancery Lane in 1885.
